Yes. The viewneo 4K SignageBox requires an external power source. The cable and power supply are provided with the product.

With the viewneo 4K Signage Box remote control, you can easily set up and manage your device without using a mouse and/or keyboard. The remote control operates via infrared and should always be used with a clear line of sight towards the device.

Below is a diagram and description of the different features of the remote control:

Power button:
You can use the power button to turn your device on and off. If you would like to turn off your screen automatically at a fixed time, we recommend using our Display Timer function.

Home button:
The home button can be used to restart the viewneo Player app. The screen will turn briefly black and then the viewneo Player app will appear.

Mouse pointer:
By pressing the mouse pointer button, you can activate a mouse pointer to appear on the screen. You can move the mouse pointer by using the navigation keys (up arrow, down arrow, left arrow, right arrow). To perform a mouse click, simply press the OK button, which is located in the center of the navigation buttons. To exit the mouse pointer mode, just press the mouse pointer button again.

Navigation buttons:
The navigation buttons, consist of four directional buttons (up, down, left, right) and an OK button. These buttons allow you to switch through various screens and perform actions. In the mouse pointer mode, you can use the four directional buttons to move the mouse pointer on the screen and confirm your selection with the OK button.

Menu button:
Pressing the menu button allows you to return to the menu from the playback mode of the viewneo Player app. Just press the button once, and you will land directly on the menu or prompted to enter a PIN code, depending upon your security settings.

Back button:
The back button can be used to return to a previous window.

Volume Up/Down buttons:
These buttons can be used; however, the device automatically uses the volume set in the viewneo Cloud.

If you've updated the content in your playlist, but it's not shown on your screen, there are several possible reasons.

Missing network connection:
If your network connection was cut off, you will need to reconnect your 4K SignageBox with your Wi-Fi. You can determine if there has been a network disconnection by checking the heartbeat of your player. It will show you the status of the current connection, when the player was last connected to our server and the last time the content was updated.

Another playlist is assigned to the device:
If another playlist is assigned to the device, it is possible that it has a higher priority and will be shown instead of the playlist you expect. You can see if this is the issue by checking if the playlist of your device and the device group are the same. If their settings are different, this maybe the reason why your playlist is not being displayed.

The update interval is too long:
You can see if this is the case by checking the setting of your interval update. It might be, that you have made changes to your playlist and the player has not yet updated. You can change settings to allow for a shorter interval, but note that the changes will not take place until the end of the original interval is reached. However, you can also update your content manually by yourself.
