Subject of data protection

The subject of data protection is personal data. This is according to Sec. 3 (1) of the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz – “BDSG”) information about personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable person. IP address

The IP address is transmitted for each server request so that the server knows where the response must be sent. Everybody receives the IP address from an Internet-Service-Provider (ISP), who can track what IP address at what time was assigned to which of its customers as soon as it connects to the internet. As long as the IP address is stored, the identity of the access line can theoretically be determined indirectly via the ISP. We use the IP address only for the session detection, the geolocation (up to city-level) and for warding off attacks. After that the IP address is immediately deleted so that the collected data is then anonymous and even through the detour of the ISP it will no longer be possible to determine someone`s identity.

Transfer of data
