Community

Where viewneo users help each other.

Ask questions, share your setup, and learn from installers, operators, and IT teams running viewneo in the real world.

The viewneo Community is a peer-to-peer forum where viewneo users ask questions, share configurations, and help each other. It replaces the previous viewneo Forum and is hosted as a Google Group at groups.google.com/a/viewneo.com/g/viewneo-forum.

The community is open to installers, in-house operators, and IT teams running viewneo across one location or many. If you have a question about a real deployment scenario, this is where other practitioners answer.

Who participates

The viewneo Community brings together the people who use viewneo daily: AV installers, retail and hospitality operators, IT managers, and digital signage professionals. Discussions cover a wide range of practical topics — from first-time setup questions to advanced multi-site scheduling and sensor integration.

Because the community is peer-driven, the most useful threads come from people describing a specific challenge and the solution they found. If you have solved something that took time to figure out, sharing it here helps the next person who runs into the same problem.

Before posting a new question, search the archive — many common topics have existing threads. The community is particularly useful for:

  • Combining plugins to build a custom content workflow
  • Structuring content for deployments across multiple locations
  • Configuring hardware such as sensors and IoT gateways alongside the viewneo platform
  • Integrating viewneo with third-party systems (POS, room booking, data feeds)

For questions about platform features, the viewneo Docs are the primary reference. For video walkthroughs, the YouTube channel covers common setup workflows. For account, billing, or project questions, contact the viewneo team directly.

The relationship to the viewneo Forum

The viewneo Community is the successor to the viewneo Forum Google Group under the same URL. The community name has changed; the platform, the audience, and the purpose have not.

How to participate

Joining requires a Google account. Visit the Google Group link, request to join, and you can read existing threads immediately. To post, your membership request needs to be accepted.

Participation is governed by the Google Group’s default conduct settings. Keep discussions relevant to viewneo and constructive for other members.

Where community fits in the wider support picture

The community is one of four viewneo support channels. For a full overview of all available help — documentation, tutorials, community, and direct contact — see the viewneo Support page. For the latest platform updates and release notes, see the changelog.

What you can do

Three ways to get value from the community.

The viewneo Community is a Google Group open to all viewneo users. Whether you have a question, a tip, or a configuration worth sharing, this is the place.

  • Post a question about your setup, a plugin combination, or a multi-site configuration. Other users and experienced installers reply.

  • Describe a configuration that works well for your environment — industry-specific layouts, sensor setups, scheduling rules — so others can build on it.

  • Search the archive of past discussions before opening a new thread. Many common questions have already been answered by experienced viewneo users.
