Turn every store into a campaign.

Cloud-managed displays, interactive shelves, and sensor-driven moments that lift dwell time and give store teams less to do — not more.

viewneo is a cloud-based digital signage and smart-store platform for brick-and-mortar retail. It connects screens, interactive shelves, RFID readers, motion sensors, and AI cameras to one dashboard, so store teams can run in-store campaigns, react to shopper behaviour, and measure what works — without third-party systems to stitch together.

The challenge in retail

Physical stores compete with the convenience and data of online shopping. Shoppers expect information on demand, staff are stretched thin, and most in-store marketing is invisible: it can’t be measured, A/B tested, or improved. A printed shelf-talker tells you nothing about who looked at it, how long they stayed, or whether it moved a single unit. Meanwhile each new rollout risks a slow, costly integration project — one vendor for screens, another for sensors, a third for analytics — none of which talk to each other.

How does viewneo solve it?

viewneo gives physical retail the toolkit that was previously reserved for e-commerce. viewneo Enterprise is the orchestration layer — plan playlists, schedule by store or region, and push updates to thousands of screens at once, so a campaign that used to mean weeks of printing and shipping goes live everywhere in minutes. Because hardware and software come from one place, there is no costly integration of third-party systems: from RFID readers and smart buttons to motion sensors, AI cameras, and sensory clothing hooks, the Smart Store Module expands as your ideas do, and the same system grows from a single screen to a fully interactive store.

The point is not only a better customer experience — it is leaner operations. When shoppers can answer their own questions at the shelf, staff are freed for higher-value work, and creative, hard-to-replicate in-store moments build the kind of loyalty an online catalogue can’t.

What is interactive shopping — Lift & Learn?

Lift & Learn turns a simple gesture into a moment of information. Attach an RFID sticker to a product and install a reader under the shelf; when a shopper lifts the item, the Smart Store RFID module recognises it and the nearby screen reacts with pricing, variants, complementary products, or a short demo. It is the in-store equivalent of an online product page — and a natural cross-sell, surfacing the matching accessory or the next size up at the moment of interest. Setup needs no special skills: place the readers in a row and configure them from your phone.

Sensory clothing hooks work the same way for apparel: the PWS sensory pegs detect when a garment is picked up and surface size, fabric, and styling tips on screen. Every interaction is counted, so you also learn how often each product sparked interest.

Staging the store with lights and devices

A showroom is more than its screens. To stage the room itself, the viewneo Butler can trigger any power-operated device — lamps, turntables, displays — so a screen ad can spotlight the matching product on the shelf in real time. There is no need to buy special equipment: from Philips Hue lighting to an electrically operated turntable, devices already on the floor can be combined into a single choreographed moment. Media content reacting to the physical environment is what turns a product presentation into something customers remember.

Audience-aware content and analytics

viewneo records every sensor interaction, so you can see which products drew attention and adjust placement accordingly. Paired with an AI camera, a screen can also respond to the audience in front of it — reading anonymised metadata, never identities, to show a more relevant offer or point a shopper toward the right department. Because every action is logged in line with data-protection rules, retailers can finally A/B test the shop floor: compare placements, measure campaigns, and make point-of-sale marketing as transparent and improvable as anything online.

Frequently asked questions

Can viewneo replace our existing in-store signage?
Yes. viewneo runs on plug-and-play media players, so you can keep your current screens and add cloud management on top. Most retailers start with a few flagship stores and roll out from there.
What is Lift & Learn?
An RFID sensor under the shelf detects when a shopper picks up a product and triggers relevant content on a nearby screen — pricing, variants, or how-to video. See the Smart Store RFID module.
How long does a retail rollout take?
A single store can go live in days. Multi-site rollouts depend on hardware logistics, but content and scheduling are configured once and pushed to every location at once.
Which hardware works for retail?
Most retail setups combine the Smart Store Module with the viewneo Butler media player; RFID and sensory hooks add interactivity where you need it.
Is in-store camera analytics GDPR-compliant?
viewneo's AI cameras analyse anonymised metadata, not identities, and record no personal data. viewneo is operated from the EU and signs DPAs on request. See our Privacy policy.
